My favorite photos to take...

I often get asked what my favorite photos to take at a wedding are. While there are many moments that I enjoy photographing, sunset portraits with my couples are my all-time favorite! I have found that my couples are more relaxed and can truly enjoy the rest of their wedding, especially if the first part of the day was stressful. For Christian & Katie's wedding, their sunset portraits were unique due to the smoke that was in our area. The PNW has a reputation of having a "fire season" around August & September each year. At times, the smoke is unhealthy and makes it impossible to see the beautiful landscapes in the PNW. This bride & groom were lucky that the fires were not close to their wedding venue and that it created a unique backdrop to their sunset portraits.
